About Me
Hello, I'm Stephen, although I mostly go by Steve. I'm a seasoned web designer with a diverse skill set. My expertise spans backend programming, crafting websites with exceptional usability and accessibility, as well as innovating and expanding upon existing ideas and branding. I look for ways to be versatile or a jack of all trades in the digital realm.
Beyond my passion for technology, I'm an enthusiastic explorer of the great outdoors. Whenever I have the opportunity, I like to venture across America, particularly its national parks, with my family.

Spotlight: Social Media Suitcase
One of my recent projects is the "Social Media Suitcase" website, which I developed from start to finish, encompassing design, front-end, and back-end development. The primary goal of this website was to empower insurance agents with a streamlined solution for generating engaging content to attract and engage customers on their social media platforms. With just a few clicks, users can access a wealth of pre-made content.
The Social Media Suitcase admin homepage serves as the central hub for populating fresh content on the website, including new posts and images. (screenshot)
One of the key features of the website is its content management system. I implemented a back-end system enabling administrators to add content easily without requiring developer assistance.
The "Social Media Suitcase" website has earned recognition in the form of prestigious awards, including the Gold Award and Best in Show (2022), from the Insurance and Marketing Communications Association (IMCA).

Social Media Suitcase
Here is the earlier version of the Social Media Suitcase before the update. The main banner featured a CSS animation depicting the suitcase being filled with social media items during the initial load. Similar to the current redesign, the Social Media Suitcase included a custom-built content management system developed with ASP.NET. Additionally, I have included other concept designs that I created but were not implemented.

Miscellaneous
Here's a compilation of websites and visuals I've worked on. For instance, in the "Typical Day in Michigan" piece, I was tasked with creatively incorporating as many products as possible to effectively convey that the coverage for these products is year-round. Also, I conceptualized a website idea named "My Great Outdoors," with branding inspired by AI-generated images generated from my prompts.

Visuals for Facebook
Here are some examples of various Facebook cover image styles and some of their accompanying side banners for different campaigns.
During an October campaign, a playful swap took place where the 'generic' graphic was replaced with a Halloween-themed version of the same graphic as a humorous gag. * Use slider to see before and after.
Email animations
Here are a couple of animation samples I created for an email campaign.
Here are some examples of my earlier work, including interfaces I designed for Flash modules using ActionScript 2.0 for programming. These Flash modules encompassed animated slides synchronized with audio and transcripts.
